Mumbai local trains

yesterday 5th may 2005 will go as a day when i took 4 trains in one day in history.

started at 10:00 from my hostel to the charni road station from where i took atrain to lower parel.......

i went to the OPPI office i n Peninsula chambers in lower parel......lots of activities on the roads......

and i had 120 bucks in my pocket...tis might seem to be a trivial information ... but 120 bcks is not the kind of money u have in ur wallet when u are roaming in mumbai a relatively unknown territory ..............

the whole point in goin to oppi was to refer to a pharma guide for my project.......but after goin thru the guide i knew that its impossible to write down the 85 pages of data i need from the book....so i had to get it xeroxed........if and only if i get these oppi guys to agree to give me the book......... i had to put lots of senti sayin that i m a student from delhi...probably i can leave my id card(who needs it anyway), liscence, cell phone etc as security....i think i touched the inner feelings of hte ld lady by putting so much senti so i somehow managed to get the xerox....

oops i had to pay the xerox chap Rs 45.... now i have Rs 70.......

i had to take a central line train from Currey road to Chatrapathi Shivaji terminus(5 bucks for the ticket)... i met a vague guy wiping his bald head some n hundred times with his handkerchief...... i recieved a cold stare from him when i was caught staring at him........

it was already 1:00 and i'm very hungry thanx to my habit of wakin up late and missing my breakfast.....all the hardwaork i have done the whole day made me feel hungry,......was looking forward t oeat the dhabba in office...but alas th dabba chap decided not to give me food anymore...............

so i had to go out to have lunch.......anothe 30 bucks gone........35 bucks left in my pocket....... so i sit down to do some data entry job....ojnly to find that i have lost my important data notebook.............so lower parel was ready to welcome me again....

when i was goin thru my mails i saw a frantic mail from a friend asking me to call her asap............STD call to delhi cost me anothe r 10 bucks............and im still hungy.............25 bucks in the wallet and im very sure that i will have to spend 10 more bucks...........

after office .......cst to curey road again...........i literally ran to the xerox shop wallah to get my book.....had to listen to his lecture on how smart ppl should not lose their notebooks......then lower parel to charni road.............yes i still have 15 bucks in my wallet......
