Karaoke

My comp has started to make low decibel humming sleep inducing noise.....

downloaded a karoke player so that i can exercise my singing muscles.....

didnt know wat a karaoke player is before chancing upon it in wikipedia....sounded like fun so downloaded a free karaoke player called karafun.....

now i have to download the midi files of the songs which i want to sing.....yes these are the same file format of ur cell phone ring tones..... I learnt that the guy who invented karaoke got ig nobel price for it.....ig nobel is the price given to scientific community who come up with funny inventions/discoveries at the same time the thing makes the public think.....

here are a few ig nobel (pronounced as ig nobell) winning entries

1. Presence of humans arouse ostriches sexually!

2. Black hole satisfies all the specifics for being the hell!

3. Five second rule whic hsays that the dropped food maynot be contaminated if it is picked up within the five seconds of droping!

Ig nobel awards are in stark contrast to Darwin awards(whose aim is only to entertain)...

the comparison made me curious enough to browse about Darwin awards at 2:30 in the morning when i have a hundred mark paper in the nest 8th hr.....

Search for Darwin awards yielded the following result -

A Darwin Award is an honor given to people who supposedly help to improve the human gene pool by "removing themselves from it in a spectacularly stupid manner".

My god i was flabbergasted to know that the awardees mostly recieve posthumous awards...

the site provided the eligibility criteria for the darwin awards -

• Inability to reproduce
• Excellence
• Self selection
• maturity (age>17 and of sound mental health)
• veracity

If anyone can get himself/herself a darwin awrds he definitely cannot be of sound mental health....

(if u guys are trying for one of these awards n if u have intentions of removing someone else with urself from the genepool then u r not eligible for the awrds)
