Restaurants in and around CST

CST - Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminus is the main railway station i mumbai....earlier it was called VT or Victoria Terminus...........these maharashtrians are very passionate about shivaji....there are shivaji parks, shivaji roads, shivaji railway stations, shivaji strrets, shivaji buildings everywhere in mumbai.........missed out the shivaji statues....with his horse ofcourse.......

since my office is near CST i think i can talk about CST........i had to visit it some n times to commute to places in mumbai...once to wadala to catch a movie in imax labs and once to currey road to retrieve my notebook from a xerox sop...once to bid adieu to a friend who was goin to delhi........magnificient indo sarcenic architecture..... it is a bit gothic too........there are so many other old buildings in this area....te site has been declared a heritage site by the mahrashtrian govt some time back.......

i normally get dabba for my lunch for i was deprived of dabbas quite a number of times for assorted varities of reasons.........at those unfortunate or rather fortunate times i had to go out to restaurants for my lunch......
one thing that strikes anyone when he/she enters any of the restaurants in thsi area is the always busy looking people....yes it has to be that way bcos of the umpteen number of offices in this area.......

i have had my lunch in 5 different hotels.......vasanth refreshers, national hindu hotel, hotel irani, new kerala restaurant and i dont remember the name......... i did not have to spend more than 35 bucks in any of these hotels....
decent food too....filling.......
