The costly beer

Chandoo and Doc (IIMI junata) were in a beer guzzling mood yesterday....... they roped me in for their trip to 1+1 sundance bar(happy hours scheme....bogo offer) near eros in churchgate...in turn i roped in Lohia....my friend, philospher,financial analyst and most of all my financier........reached sundance at 9:00 ordered three mugs of royal challenge beer...Lohia being a non drinker ordered a strawberry milkshake.......the beer came with a bowl of peanuts.....we happily drank during the happy hour.....met lijo in the bar........Lohia was the only disgruntled person around....disgrntled cos he didnt like drunkards, over that i told him that i doped once in a while (when he heard this he said he should change his company)....so lohia mite move from corp bank to some other company....then he did not get to eat any peanuts.......his milkshake was yucky.....and it costed him 70 bucks.....while our tw omugs of beer costed 40 bucks only......after the first round we ordered our second mug of free beer.......the beer went in no time.......and lohia seeemed to be the most drunk guy around........we asked for the menu card only t oreturn it back to the waiter as soon as we saw the price (nothin in two digit figures)....

So we decided to go to a cheaper place for grub........since two mugs of beer makes a social drinker feel high and light we had to rely on Lohia to take us across the road for grub......Lohia led us into a shaddy strret with dim street lights near the BSE building (thats where his office is.....so he said he knows lots of good cheap eateries nearby)........in an equally shaddy bylanes we saw a dimly lit board saying ankur with a green leaf logo......somebody said this shud be good enuff for us...so we entered the place and duh the place was bloddy costly.......with five waiters serving one guest and lots of hifi crowd doing lots of polite conversation........none of us were in a mood to trot outside so we choose to eat like kings.......ordered a chicken patiala and a veg dish (for Lohia) and 2 stuffed paranthas and 2 nans...for four of us......i had to put a virtual bottom to my bottomless pit of a stomach.......my god....the chicken melted in our mouths........some enlightened soul wanted to try squid (none other than me) much to the displeasure of lohia and chandoo so had to drop the idea......bach gaya squid...........we were forced to leave a tp of 35 bucks ....that will give 7 bucks per waiter...thats not very costly......we came out heavy (the effect of beer had vanished by then)........

Had icecream biscuit in a nameless place........wow! that was tasty too......had to run to the hostel to attend to the natures call......mass balance....lots of fluid in= lots of fluid out.......
